Modelling: Avery The Fairy

This model started from an initial 2D concept design by me, with the modelling process based off a standard base model. The base model was modified within ZBrush, giving the model more pointed features. Additional assets such as the skirt, hair and dagger were modelled within Maya and further modified within ZBrush for finer details. The final model was rendered in Unreal Engine with the implementation of a HDR background and Fab assets for set dressing.

Utilising these skills and softwares, I was able to create a unique and detailed fairy character.

Technical Art In Unreal Engine 5

This project is a collection of skills learnt and refined within Unreal Engine 5, mostly including effects to playable characters and how they interact with their environment such as particle effects related to specific animations, texture changes to environments including rain affecting the character, footprints left behind by the character and perspective distortions when interacting with water.

 

This project also showcases skills and experience in particle effects, such as rain and effects tied to the character, physics such as creating a realistic bridge and buoyancy as well as collisions.

Sound Design

A specialised project learning how to effectively apply sound design to enhance an animation using Adobe Audition. Through this project I was able to learn how to manipulate sounds and apply effects to get a desired outcome, enhancing the performance of the animated trailer.
